Our Story

Level Playing Field Spend Management was founded in 2019, by Nate Skiver, with a simple objective: to help ecommerce companies compete on shipping. While the objective may be simple, the required solutions are often complex and unique to each shipper. After spending more than a decade managing and negotiating parcel carrier contracts for global apparel brands such as Gap Inc. and Abercrombie & Fitch, as well as direct sales company Stella & Dot, Nate identified a need in the market to develop a solution which provides deep parcel expertise through a delivery experience lens. The result was Level Playing Field Spend Management, a company obsessed with helping ecommerce shippers leverage thoughtfully procured, cost-effective parcel shipping services to meet their customers’ needs.
